You can visit us everyday to see a brand new property special, specifically for that day only.  In the spirit of the old neighborhood diners that would advertise a great value for lunch in the name of a “Blue Plate Special,” Outer Banks Blue proudly introduces our version of the daily special…the “Blue Plate Special.”

I Only See One Property Listed Here, are there Other Deals?

On our Blue Plate Special page we show one property per day until it is booked or until 11:59pm Eastern Standard time when it is replaced (see next entry for details).

On our Specials Page – visitors to the page can also review other discounted properties and special offers. The Outer Banks Blue Specials Page is conveniently broken down to the week of arrival with immediate access to the reduced pricing, amenities listings, location information and pictures. The page even offers an RSS Feed for those vacationers who want to be updated on new specials as they become available.

What is the schedule for new properties?

The short answer: we offer a new property special every single day. The details: a new property special is released every morning at 12am Eastern Standard time, seven days a week. (If you're not a morning person, this can be described as every night at midnight. Better?) If a property is booked during its run, a new property will not appear until the next release time.

How Will I know if the Property has already been booked?

Just like the neighborhood diner’s Blue Plate Special has run out, Once the Outer Banks Blue “Blue Plate Special” is booked it will be removed from the web site, and replaced with another special.  That’s why it is important to arrive early to the local diner for the special, and it is important that you check early in the day to check out the blue plate special.  It may be gone by the time you get hungry for a vacation!
