Good Monday morning. It is a fabulous beginning to the week here on the Outer Banks with the temperatures in the 90’s few clouds, and a calm ocean to greet us all on this special ribbon on land off of North Carolina. We share with you today Perkins family vacation photos on our Memory Monday photo submission.
Greetings from the Outer Banks! This rainy Monday on the Outer Banks is not starting out as a great beach day, but we have had so many great beach days this summer we can’t complain too much. This week’s Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Tina Macleay of Fredericksburg, Virginia who stayed with Outer Banks Blue the week of July 4th at the vacation rental property Majestic Palm in Nags Head, and provides to us this Patriotic Baby.
Greetings on this beautiful Monday from the Outer Banks. It has been unbelievably hot here on the OBX lately, but today it is pleasant and making for a good beach day. That brings us to this week’s Memory Monday photo submission from the Winward family vacation that occurred at one of our properties just a week ago. As you will see the Winward family enjoyed just about everything the Outer Banks has to offer during their week.
So tomorrow is July 4th so let us be the first to wish you and your family a great Independence day celebration. Lots of fireworks displays will be going on around the Outer Banks this week including 3 tomorrow night (Manteo, Corolla, and Avon) and then another one in Kill Devil Hills this Friday night. We can’t wait for the moment when the displays begin around the obx. Always lots of fun!
We hope everyone had a great Father’s day yesterday. It sure was a hot one here on the Outer Banks with temps in the high 80’s and the humidity right there too. A great day usually starts with a great sunrise, and this week we have a Kitty Hawk sunrise for you.
Greetings from the Outer Banks on a sunny Monday morning where last week the beach nourishment operations began in Duck to create More Beach to Love.
More Beach to Love is the website that our Dare County government officials have created to keep everyone updated on the progress of a much needed, and long-awaited pumping of sand on our eroded beaches. The project has been talked about for years, and delayed from the Spring of 2016, but it is finally here and it is happening quickly.
Happy Monday! This week’s Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Karen Lombardo of Round Hill, Virginia who shares some great memories of her family’s vacation on the Outer Banks. Our vacation rental properties were built for great memories, and Karen shares with us several examples of how to best enjoy the OBX with your family at the beach!
Happy Belated Mothers Day to all of the mother’s out there. We had a great weekend here on the Outer Banks with sunny skies and warm weather. Today’s Memory Monday photo submission has a great story behind it and so we step aside to hear the story of Danny’s Necklace from Fred Streb of Chantilly, Virginia who stayed with Outer Banks Blue at the Corolla Vacation Rental property “Island Hopping.”
Greetings on this beautiful Monday from the Outer Banks also known at “May Day.”
On this beautiful Monday we bring you a beautiful sunrise on the Outer Banks in Nags Head from a recent Outer Banks Blue vacationer who rented from us in Nags Head last summer.
Happy Easter Monday to one and all. What a gorgeous Easter Sunday we had here on the Outer Banks yesterday with temperatures reaching into the high 80’s. A perfect day for a family gathering on the beach.
