Greetings from a blustery Outer Banks on this Memory Monday. We are under a Tropical storm watch right now, but expect that to change to a warning (meaning conditions for a Tropical Storm will arrive within 36 hours), and rain will move into the area tonight. The good news is the storm (unnamed still, but will become Irma if it reaches tropical storm strength) is expected to move through the area rapidly and clear skies will return for this week’s rental guests. Maybe by Wednesday we will have clear skies and great beach weather again.
Greetings on this beautiful Monday from the Outer Banks. It has been unbelievably hot here on the OBX lately, but today it is pleasant and making for a good beach day. That brings us to this week’s Memory Monday photo submission from the Winward family vacation that occurred at one of our properties just a week ago. As you will see the Winward family enjoyed just about everything the Outer Banks has to offer during their week.
Two picture kind of day
This week’s Memory Monday photo submissions come to us from Amy Chalmers of Clarksville, Maryland and Carrie Henry of Athens, Pennsylvania.
Morning Fishing in Corolla
Well Spring has sprung on the Outer Banks and people are returning to the beach. As I write this on Monday morning the sun is rising over the ocean on another beautiful day on the OBX.
The Last Post of the Year!
It is hard to believe that another 52 Mondays have passed, but indeed this will be the last Memory Monday Photo Submission for 2013. Its been a great year with lots of memorable photos to share. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our weekly postings, and congratulations to the people that won the monthly random drawing of photos to get $100 off your next year’s stay with Outer Banks Blue.
This week’s Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Diane Lepley of Wooster, Ohio who stayed with Outer Banks Blue this past July in Duck in the property “Easy Livin’.“
