It was as delightful a place as could be - we stayed up in Corolla 10 yrs ago - and it sure has developed - my envirionmental /ecological heart does stop at the use of a barrier reef with these huge houses - tho staying in Duck gave us a lot less traveling time for seeing the rest of the OB- it is a beautiful place for relaxing out of season... no traffic!!
