Colleen received her Real Estate Brokers License in 1995 and she and Barb go back to the early-1990s, where they worked together in vacation property management in Duck. Colleen subsequently left the area to return to her insurance career in Northern Virginia, but happily the pull of the Outer Banks was irresistible.
Colleen joined the Sun and Sea Team as the Team Administrator and Closing Coordinator. She later decided to leave the admin side and enter the world of real estate sales, where she couples her past property management, insurance and administrative experience with her sales know-how to provide her clients with a wide breadth of knowledge, expertise, humor and good common sense.
Colleen holds the professional designations of Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and e-PRO.
Colleen currently sits on the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS Board of Directors and has served the Association as Chair of the Education Committee and as a committee member on the Professional Standards and MLS Committees. In addition to her duties with The Outer Banks Association of REALTORS, she actively participates as an Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, a member of the Outer Banks Homebuilders Association and an active participant in RELAY for Life.
Colleen and her husband Steven live in Manteo with their two Jack Russell terriers.
