Another Beautiful Morning - Memory Monday 9/28/2020

Greetings from the Outer Banks on this beautiful day which happens to be the last Monday of September. The beach is still very busy with lots of guests in the area enjoying all the area has to offer. We hope you will be able to enjoy a fall getaway to the Outer Banks!

Sunrise in Nags Head

This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Peggy Seale who stayed with Outer Banks Blue recently in the Nags Head vacation rental "Beach Blanket Bingo."

This photo reminds us of what many of our guests are looking for in a vacation rental on the Outer Banks - Peace and solitude. Just check out this great sunrise that Peggy caught on camera. The sunrise, the uncrowded beach, the gentle waves.

Beautiful

This inviting picture is a subdued version of what we've seen over the past week with surf on the Outer Banks. Top rated area surfers described the conditions last Wednesday as the "best in a lifetime." Waves created by Hurricane Teddy that passed by the Outer Banks were cresting at 14 feet or higher. Surfers from all over the east coast were here on the beach to enjoy some truly memorable surf conditions.

The other thing these huge waves brought was seashells. The shelling on the Outer Banks has been tremendous over the past several days. A beachcomber's paradise.

We thank Peggy for her photo memories of her stay, and we look forward to serving her family again soon.

All the best from the beach!
