Today marks a date that many local sailors and thrill seekers didn’t think they would see again. “2019 Worrell 1000 Reunion Race” catamaran sailboat race started this morning in Hollywood Beach, Florida after a 17 year absence. The race is named as it is because of the approximate 1000 mile course it travels.
We’ve had a great few weeks of weather and festivities on the Outer Banks. Today is cooler than it has been recently, but it is expected to be in the 80 degree range for the rest of the week. A good week to go fishing!
So Happy Tax Day! Ugh. Yep, this Memory Monday happens to be the day that no one looks forward to. The day we have to file our taxes, but we hope filing taxes brings you a tax refund that you can plan on using for a family vacation!
Greetings from the Outer Banks on this glorious Monday morning. Temperatures are in the 70’s today with overnight lows just getting into the 60’s. Yes, spring is definitely in full swing and we are loving it. The weather makes us look forward to the start of pool season, and of course hanging out with our inflatable flamingo floats.
Good morning, and Happy April Fools day! Be on guard from any practical jokers trying to get you on this day of creativity. Today is a good day to go and drive Jeeps on the beach.
Greetings from a crisp and breezy Outer Banks on this Monday morning. March has definitely rolled in like a lion here on the beach with cool temperatures and brisk overnight breezes. Definitely not a day to kick back and enjoy the beach from a favorite chair.
Good Monday morning to you and greetings from the Outer Banks where Spring continues to toy with us. We are seeing daffodils pop up for the first time this year and temperatures were in the 70’s yesterday in the area which is very encouraging. But this morning it is blustery and temps are back down in the 50’s again.
Happy Monday Morning wishes to you from the Outer Banks where this past Saturday we had the experience of a lifetime. The new bridge to Hatteras Island from the Northern Outer Banks is nearly complete and prior to its opening everyone had the opportunity to walk or bike on the new structure.
Greetings on this 1st Monday of February. Did you enjoy the big game last night? The super bowl did not produce as much scoring as anyone expected, but I’m sure we all enjoyed the food associated with the big game.
Here at Everything Outer Banks we love the photos that are sent to us on a weekly basis, and this week is no different. What is different this week is we decided to look in our storage folders and give you a number of the most popular subject of our photos – your dogs. We are calling this the dog gallery.
