Weekends at the beach
are very popular at this time of year. This past weekend we noted a lot of activity around the beach from folks just getting away for a few days. Grocery stores seemed busier than normal, and restaurants were unusually busy for February. We are glad so many people think to come to the beach when they need a getaway. There's no place better to get away than the Outer Banks.
This week's Memory Monday photo submission reminds us of weekend getaways. Cheers to the OBX came to mind when we saw this week's picture. It comes to us from Terri Molnar of Gloucester, Virginia who stayed with us in January. The property was the scene of a Girls Weekend in Nags Head ("Changing Tides").
