Disconnected - Memory Monday 11/8/2021

Greetings from a blustery Outer Banks. We have our first Nor'easter of the fall season going on this Monday morning. Very windy and drizzly this past weekend. In fact the OBX Marathon was postponed due to weather for the first time ever. But with every bad weather Sunday comes a great opportunity to relax and disconnect.

Sunrise on the OBX

is something to behold. We are truly on the edge of the world on the Outer Banks. That brings us tough weather sometimes, but it also brings spectacular sunrises.

This week's Memory Monday photo submission reminds us of the great sunrises on the Outer Banks, and the opportunity to disconnect. Unfortunately we can't give exact credit to the person that took this photo, or where they stayed, but the photo is spectacular.

Who wouldn't want to be here?

The caption sent with the photo was perfect - "Reading, drinking coffee, as we watched the sunrise above the splashing ocean waves every morning, totally disconnected from the world."

Sometimes that is just what we need on vacation. A little non-business reading, relaxing, and taking a look at nature in it's best state.

Thank you for sending along this great photo. We look forward to serving you again soon.

All the best from the beach!
