Dog Friendly Outer Banks Vacation

This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Mackenzie Hale of Fort Bragg, North Carolina who recently came to enjoy the Outer Banks with her husband Adam and her dog "Breck."

Here's what Mackenzie had to tell us. "Our dogs name is Breck, and she is a two year old Lab mix. This was her first time at the beach, and she absolutely LOVED it. I am telling you, once her little paws hit the sand she was a completely different dog. My husband recently returned from a 9 month deployment to Afghanistan, so we decided to take a trip to the OBX on his leave. This was our first visit to the OBX, and we immediately fell in love with the OBX. When we crossed the bridge into Manteo, we both looked at each other, and said "We need to move here!" haha We spent a week in Corolla, and just had the best time. Our house was great, and we are already wanting to plan another trip back. Outer Banks Blue rocks! Thank you for a wonderful, stress free vacation!"

Thanks to your Mackenzie for your memories, and a special thanks to you and your husband for your respective service to our country! We know it is not easy being in the military, nor is it easy being a spouse of a soldier. We honor your sacrifice for the United States and we look forward to serving you again soon! All the best from the beach!
