It is the last Monday of summer and here on the Outer Banks we are sad to see it gone. We love summer on the beach. But even so it is always nice to have a change of seasons. Deep down inside we can admit that many of us locals do enjoy the cooler temperatures of Autumn.
Dog beach day
The fall on the Outer Banks brings with it less restrictions for having our four legged family members on the beach. Some localities don't allow dogs on the beach during the summer at times. When it comes to the fall we see more fur babies enjoying time on the sand and in the waves.
This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Dawn Carter of Richmond, Virginia. Dawn and her friends stayed at the Duck rental property "Ivey's Lairhttps://www.outerbanksblue.com/vacation-rentals/iveys-lair/SP004," and she shared some great photos.
This is Varnus and Miss James who just last week enjoyed "the beautiful dog friendly beaches of Duck" according to Dawn.
Well it looks like these two had a dog gone great time at the beach.
Thank you Dawn for sharing your photo memories. We look forward to serving you and Varnus, and Miss James again soon.
All the best from the beach!
