Good morning from another spectacular day on the Outer Banks. A spectacular sunrise greeted us on the beach today, and it is predicted to be a wonderful week. This is a great opportunity for families to make lifetime memories. Just like the example we have for you on this week’s Memory Monday.
Alligator River Wildlife Refuge
is one of those places that is a hidden gem in this area. The refuge is approximately 10 miles west of Nags Head off of U.S. 64 and has a variety of great things for you to do. You can see a huge black bear population in their natural habitat, you can look for endangered red wolves, go bird watching, or, yes, find an alligator!
This week’s Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Kelly Morris of Warsaw, Virginia who stayed with us last week at the Nags Head vacation rental property “Looney Dunes.” Kelly sent us two great photo memories. One of them was this cute pose.

The other photo Kelly sent us was from the refuge. Her whole family went to see Bears, and they even got to see a gator while they were there exploring. Kelly tells us “we had so much fun, and made lots of memories.”

What a good looking group! Watch out – there is a gator right behind you.
Thank you Kelly for sharing your photo memories. We look forward to serving you and your fun seeking family again soon.
All the best from the beach!
