Memory Monday 4/29/19 Fishing and Memories

We've had a great few weeks of weather and festivities on the Outer Banks. Today is cooler than it has been recently, but it is expected to be in the 80 degree range for the rest of the week. A good week to go fishing!

Hilton Family Photos

This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Richard Hilton of Sandy Creek, New York who recently stayed with Outer Banks Blue at the Corolla vacation rental "Sounds great!" This property is on the soundside of the Outer Banks in the Monteray Shores subdivision. A great area to consider for your next vacation.

As you can see the Hilton family had a relaxing time enjoying the water, and the fishing.

The Hilton photos remind us of how much enjoyment folks get from staying on the "other" side of the Outer Banks. The Currituck Sound is known as a "Sportsman's Paradise," and you can see why. The water depth is approximately 10 feet at the deepest point, and the brackish water is home to all sorts of life. Birds, fish, and people enjoy the sound and all it has to offer.

The next time you vacation on the Outer Banks it may be worth your while to consider staying on the fresh water side of the beach. The Hiltons did and you can see they enjoyed their stay. We thank them for sharing their photo memories with us.

Keep in mind to send along your memory photos to us and you may just see them here on Memory Monday. We post a photo each week, and we draw a winner from each month's photo submissions to receive a $100 discount on your next stay with Blue.

All the best from the beach.
