Another Monday, and another great Memory from this past summer on the Outer Banks to pass along. This week’s Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Mallory Fuller of Asheville, North Carolina. For those of you that don’t know Asheville is in the Mountains of North Carolina, so we are sure the cold temperatures and snow of late have her thinking about her vacation with Outer Banks Blue last July in the property “Orion’s Landing” in Kill Devil Hills.
Michelle Niles attends a seminar sponsored by The Whalehead Club and Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education. One of the topics was the move of the oldest shipwreck in NC history in June 2010. Before the Shipwreck was found, 2 men started this by finding random items within a 4 mile stretch of land with metal detectors. Ray Midgett & Roger Harris were present to answer questions and give opinions on where they think this ship came from. The most exciting part was the nails removed from the ship, the longevity of the life of a nail is surprising! Storms cover & uncover history and this is just a short part of it!
This week’s “Memory Monday” Photo Contest entry comes to us from Jess Brindisi of Lorton, Virginia who gives us some great pool shots of “Chase.” What a cutie!
This week’s Memory Monday Photo Contest Entry brings us some great summer shots that created family memories for this week’s entrant.
There’s nothing like cute pictures of kids at the beach to bring a smile to one’s face. Carol tells us “We come to the outer banks every year. A beautiful day on the beach with our granddaughter. The grand kids along with the rest of us enjoy the beach and sand and just relaxing. OBX is our favorite vacation spot and we have a great time every year. “
The first Memory Monday entry for 2011 comes to us from Stacie Dziak of Powell, Ohio. Stacie stayed with Outer Banks Blue in Corolla at the rental house “Beacon Beach” this past July 17th through 24th.
It is a cold and snowy Monday here on the Outer Banks this morning with icy roads, and approximately 4 inches of snow covering the dunes today! Burrr!
It is a great day to think about warm temperatures, days at the pool, and summertime at the beach!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go, even the Outer Banks. Outer Banks Blue wishes you and yours a very Merry Christmas in 2010. As 2011 approaches, we want to thank you for choosing Outer Banks Blue for your rental needs and we hope to serve you again in the near future. We wanted to share a glimpse of the beach in late December on and show you our marquee wishing everyone an Outer Banks “Blue Christmas”. Greetings from the beach!
The Outer Banks Association of Realtors (OBAR) hosted their annual Realtor’s Ball at Captain Georges Seafood Buffet of Nags Head and had quite the turn out! Outer Banks Blue Realty Services, showed their support to Sales Manager Kim Endre, as she took on her reign of 2011 President of OBAR. Outer Banks Blue was one of the sponsors to put this event together and made history on the Outer Banks, for having 2 OBAR Presidents past and present to have reigned in this organization within the same Rental & Sales company. Tim Cafferty was the President for OBAR in 1994 and is the Owner & President of Outer Banks Blue & Sand Bridge Blue of Virginia Beach, VA. He was honored to announce the Representative for NCAR (North Carolina Association of Realtors), Myra Zollinger, to induct Kim Endre as 2011 President of OBAR. Kim gave a very touching and inspiring speech about ethics & being equals working together as a team. As a work family, we will continue to support Kim Endre at Outer Banks Blue!
