This week’s Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Tracey Weldy of Burlington, Pennsylvania. Tracy tells us the following about this week’s photos;
The Outer Banks is gorgeous year round, but there is just something about the Fall season! While water temperatures rise, the temperature of the air drops to a perfect temperature without humidity! This is time for long walks on the beach, meals out on the deck & sunset rides on a boat! Call us today to find out more at 866 792 9239 or visit outerbanksblue.com
This week’s Memory Monday submission comes to us from Kristy Bishop of Mechanicsville, Maryland who stayed with Outer Banks Blue in July at the property “Heaven Sent.” It is appropriate that we share this photo with you today as this past weekend a national sand sculpting contest was held in Virginia Beach. We think this week’s picture would be a good entrant for the contest there!
Post Hurricane Irene Advisory #3 (8/30/11 5 PM)
Access to the northern beaches of the Outer Banks is now permitted with all roadblocks now removed.
Unfortunately some of our properties did sustain damage and some guest arrivals could not be accommodated for the remainder of this week while repairs are being made to some properties.
Still no access to the OBX!
Outer Banks Blue is open, but we are still unable to welcome any guests at this time.
While the weather is clear on the beach, there continues to be major logistical and infrastructure problems in the area.
Hurricane Irene Update #4 (8/28/11 10 AM)
Visitors should delay their arrival.
Hurricane Irene has now passed the Outer Banks, but arriving rental guests this week should plan on delaying their arrival until damage assessments and clean up can be completed.
