Better days ahead – Memory Monday 12/10/18
Good morning from a cool and blustery Outer Banks. Winds have been very strong for the last two days with steady northeast gales at 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts over 55 miles per hour. Schools are on a 3 hour delay today (Monday) as we hope for better days ahead and this winter storm Diego heading off the coast and away from our paradise.

Let Outer Banks Blue ease your Mind
When you think of a vacation, what comes to mind? Oh yeah we remember, “waiting in line in an office for a key to the house, only to unpack your linens to make the bed; to scramble to find toilet paper and paper towels for using the restroom after a long ride to your destination”, right?…

Celebrating Christmas in the Outer Banks
This week’s Memory Monday submission comes to us from Kathy Scott who stayed with Outer Banks Blue this past Christmas.
There’s some great shots here of Porpoise swimming down the beach in the early morning, some pristine beach pics, and as Kathy says “what is a trip to the Outer Banks without stopping at Dennis Anderson’s Grave Digger Monster Truck in Currituck.” Dennis is a world class monster truck driver and his Grave Digger is one of the most famous vehicles in the country. The next time you come to the OBX take a stop by and see how you measure up against those monster truck tires!
Breaking Waves in the Outer Banks
Another Monday, and another great Memory from this past summer on the Outer Banks to pass along. This week’s Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Mallory Fuller of Asheville, North Carolina. For those of you that don’t know Asheville is in the Mountains of North Carolina, so we are sure the cold temperatures and snow of late have her thinking about her vacation with Outer Banks Blue last July in the property “Orion’s Landing” in Kill Devil Hills.
