Greetings from the Outer Banks! We hope you are enjoying your Monday and looking forward to coming to see us at the beach very soon. This week we bring you a different perspective on the beach – an aerial view.
It was announced this week that access to and from the Outer Banks will be more difficult this winter. The North Carolina Department of Transportation announced in a press release this week one of the two bridges that serves as the main connection to the Outer Banks will be closed for a period of 8 months beginning in Mid-September of this year and continuing until Mid-May of 2014.

The Outer Banks is the place to be this July 4th! The morning begins with an exciting parade in the heart of Duck, NC. Get there early, park, and walk to get a Duck Donut and have your beach buckets ready for candy & goodies! If you are staying in Duck, just pack up the stroller or wagon and make your way to the perfect spot for your family! The parade is followed by a day of celebration together with live music and refreshments.

A quick video was created after a visit to see the “Now” and “Then” portions of the home in Nags Head. This oceanfront beauty was once a small beach box with decks and fun memories in it’s “cabin” feel at the ocean. The home owners later added on a whole new house still combined with the old to present “Now”. The name of this home is “Now and Then” and has enough room, charm, and décor to bring everyone in the family together from all eras.
