Greetings from Kitty Hawk. It has been an interesting summer here on the Outer Banks, and it is hard to believe we have just a little more than a month to go before Labor day and the unofficial end to the summer. So far this summer we’ve seen our share of guest irritants, but everyone seems to be in fairly good spirits and working through things that are out of everyone’s control. Some of the items that have been dealt with so far this year include:
Michelle Niles visits Mile Post 17-18 to give everyone an update on what the beach looks like just behind “Cinco Palmas” SNH025. This home is our 17 bedroom (3 part) vacation spot in Nags Head just South of Jennette’s Pier. Check out what Beach Nourishment has done thus far for this area of the beach! Beach, beach and more beach, as the project is completed through Nags Head, NC.
Have you had a “Blue Moment” lately? Outer Banks Blue is here to serve you and help you enjoy days of rest and relaxation like only the ocean can give. Enjoy a glimpse of the beach and let us know how we can serve you. We are in the office 7 days a week via phone (866 792 9239) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to assist you personally.
It is a beautiful Monday here on the Outer Banks, and so many people are arriving on the OBX over the last couple of weeks, and so many more will be coming this summer to enjoy their Summer vacations here with us at Outer Banks Blue.
Today is Memorial Day 2011 which marks the unofficial start to the summer season here on the Outer Banks. There are more cars on the road, the restaurants and shoppes are bustling with activity, and our vacation rental properties are springing to life once again after months of rest. In short, the Outer Banks is alive and well again!
The temperatures have broken records both cold and warm so far this year! Groundhog day predicts an earlier Spring and we all are in hopes that this is true. Michelle Niles visits the beach in Kitty Hawk on Thursday February 17 in the morning hours. The water looks blue green, as a tropical island right here on the Outer Banks! Come see and enjoy all that Outer Banks Blue can provide you!
This week’s Memory Monday Photo Contest entry comes to us from Jim Rambo of Gambrills, Maryland who stayed with Outer Banks Blue this past summer in the property “Good Day Sunshine” in Duck. The Rambo family also stayed with Outer Banks Blue in the summer of 2009 in the property “Sea Spray,” and that is when these pictures were taken.
As Jim tells us “These pictures show just what a good time we were having at the beach!”
