Pam Knight of Glen Allen, Virginia is our guest in the spotlight this week as we post her photos on our weekly “Memory Monday” photo contest!
Pam and her family stayed with Outer Banks Blue this past September in the property “Tornquist” in Duck right after the arrival and departure of Hurricane Irene. We got a lot of photos from folks who arrived on the OBX right after Hurricane Irene, but we really like the fact that Pam sent us photos of her family having a great time at the beach. The beach indeed got very little if any damage during the storm (the soundside of the area where the locals live is what got hit hard during this storm leaving the majority of rental properties untouched), and people were able to enjoy a great fall at the beach with virtually no signs of the storm.
We thank Pam for her pictures, and we look forward to serving Pam and her family again soon!
