Do eating & running go together on the Outer Banks? Have you ever heard of “eating on the run”?
This running event takes that to another extreme!
The Donut 5K in Corolla this Friday is going to be something else! In the 5K Donut Dash, you will have a chance to run or walk the 5K eating donuts along the way! For every donut you eat, you will have time subtracted from your time. There are prizes for overall “King Donut” for the most donuts eaten by a male & “Queen Donut” for the most donuts eaten by a female! This is quite the event, stay tuned & Michelle Elmore will take you there on Friday morning with photos & video to follow on our Facebook page!

Corolla Family Vacation in the Outer Banks
Here’s a great picture submitted to us by Gary Szczensny of Tonawanda, New York. Mr. Szczensny and his clan have vacationed with Outer Banks Blue several times over the years, most recently they stayed with us in Corolla at the property “House on The Hill” in early June.
On a beautiful August Monday morning we thought this picture was a great memory to share with our readers and remind us all of what the beach is all about – friends, family and fun! Thank you Gary for such a great picture.

It is a beautiful Monday here on the Outer Banks, and so many people are arriving on the OBX over the last couple of weeks, and so many more will be coming this summer to enjoy their Summer vacations here with us at Outer Banks Blue.
Beautiful Oceanfront Vacation Home in the OBX
This is a great virtual tour to show previous and upcoming guests what a great job the new owners have done with this home. The name was changed from “Ruddock’s Retreat” to “No Wake Zone” and everything in the home was remodeled. Every room in this home (including restrooms) face the ocean.
