Memory Monday 3/25/13

Flipping out on the Outer Banks

We saw this picture in our files from last July and just had to share it.

Yahoo….An OBX Blue Vacation!

Unfortunately we have to blow the whistle on ourselves on this one as we have lost our records on this wonderful picture.    If you have any information on this picture to help bail us out on this photo please share it in our comments area so we can give proper credit to the photographer and the terrific athletes that are doing a perfectly timed synchronized back flip on the beach.

We love this picture, and can’t wait to give credit to the proper people with your help.

That reminds us to remind you to please share your favorite photo memories of your Outer Banks vacation photos for our Memory Monday photo contest.  Each Monday we post a new picture here and then monthly we draw one of the submissions out of a hat to receive a $100 credit towards a vacation this year with Outer Banks Blue!

All the best from the beach!

Memory Monday 12/31/12

Somewhere over the rainbow     This week’s Memory Monday submission (our last Memory Monday of the year 2012) comes to use from Daphne Uliana of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania who stayed with Outer Banks Blue this past July in the property “High Dune” in the Osprey subdivision in Duck.   Daphne snapped this picture looking south from the deck of “High Dune” capturing a perfect rainbow over the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck.   Rainbows are often seen after summer showers on the Outer Banks, and locals claim because the proverbial “pot of gold” at the end of a rainbow leads to these golden beaches.
Rainbow over Duck!
As we begin the new year let’s all hope to find the pot gold at the end of the rainbow!     All the best from the beach!
