Traffic flow to the Outer Banks is still restricted
As of 9:30 this morning there is unlimited access onto the Outer Banks. The Highway Patrol lifted the road block at the Wright Memorial Bridge and visitors are being permitted access to the Dare County beaches. The town of Kitty Hawk remains under a state of emergency due to flooding and power outages. Curfews have been lifted in the area.
