Greetings on this spectacular Monday on the Outer Banks. Memorial Day is just one short week away, and we are excited about the upcoming season. The bridge that leads to the OBX has been opened to full traffic after a winter of repair, all of the beaches are wide and beautiful, and the weather has been spectacular. We look forward to welcoming our valued guests – just like the O’Donnell family.
Back to school for many Outer Banks “Blue” kids!
School started for many students & employees across the Outer Banks and throughout North Carolina this week. Their new book bags, shoes, and lunch boxes can be found throughout the halls. The families that travel for the next few weeks share a different experience on the OBX. Many are possibly traveling without kiddos, from a state where school has not started, or they are bringing their babies for their first glares of the sand covered beaches!
The historic “Nags Head Hammock” on the OBX
One of the best things to do on the Outer Banks is to relax! What is more relaxing than the ocean breeze, your favorite book or lap top and a comfortable hammock to escape ? You can swing the day away while you let your thoughts drift somewhere else for awhile.
