We hope everyone had a great Father’s day yesterday. It sure was a hot one here on the Outer Banks with temps in the high 80’s and the humidity right there too. A great day usually starts with a great sunrise, and this week we have a Kitty Hawk sunrise for you.
There’s a little bit of sadness as we write this week’s Memory Monday Photo submission entry….today is the last day of June so the days are getting progressively shorter, and one of the three months of the summer beach season is now behind us, but we still have July and August!
I hope everyone understands that this week’s “Memory Monday” photo submission is being sent out on Tuesday due to yesterday being Memorial Day – we felt it important to honor Memorial day with yesterday’s post.
Happy Labor Day!!
Today marks the unofficial end of summer on the Outer Banks. As I look out my office window today things seem a little less crowded, and a little quieter already as folks are packing up and heading home.
