Duck’s Cottage is a quaint, little coffee shop tucked away in the Waterfront Shops in Duck, NC. This coffee shop/book store may be small in size but it’s large in heritage. Set in an old waterfowl hunting lodge from the 1920’s known as Powder Ridge Club. It was then bought and preserved by Betty and Duck Braithwaite thus renamed Duck’s Cottage With a cozy indoor reading nook and inviting front porch and specialty house drinks like the “Mucky Duck” or well-known house coffee “Coconut Crunch”. Celebrating 15 years of service to the Outer Banks, Duck’s Cottage has become a staple in the community and continues to provide good coffee and a piece of historic charm.
