The end is not near - Memory Monday 9/7/2020

Happy Labor Day! We hope this holiday has you relaxing and enjoying the day that typically marks the end of summer.

Not the end

This year has been a year like none other, and so it should not be a surprise that things are different this Labor day on the Outer Banks. Typically today would mark the end of lifeguard services, many businesses would start a more limited schedule, and things would just generally slow down. Not so this year as September is going to be filled with vacationers.

Outer Banks Blue, along with many other vacation rental firms in the area are enjoying full calendars on vacation rental properties through the end of this month.

This has also had a ripple effect on services and businesses in the area. Most towns are extending full lifeguard services through the end of September, and services such as twice weekly garbage collection will continue as well. The end is not near when it comes to the summer season this year.

Speaking of the end, this week's Memory Monday photo submission marks the end of a great day on the Outer Banks.

The end of another great day on the OBX!

We thank Thomas Bogardus of Warren Pennsylvania who stayed with us at the Duck vacation rental property "Tar Valier" who provided this week's image.

Thanks Thomas, we look forward to serving you and your family again soon.

All the best from the beach!
