Welcome to 2021 - Memory Monday 1/18/2021

Greetings from the Outer Banks on this Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. We welcome a new year and a new set of photo memories to share with you in 2021.

Happy New Year

As we have pointed out in recent posts the Outer Banks has been bustling through the fall and now into the winter. What is typically a slower time in terms of visitors on the beach has been busier than ever this year. The recent Christmas and New Year's Day holidays saw more guests on the Outer Banks than we typically see.

This week's Memory Monday is an example of visitors enjoying down time at the beach over New Year's Day as Chandra Seidnitzer of Newport News, Virginia sent along some photos of friends saying welcome to 2021.

Welcome
Welcome

Chandra and her friends stayed in the Duck rental property "Sea Turtle." This is one of our properties that offers less than full week stays and the group took advantage of that option for their stay.

While many of our properties are not open for rental at this time of the year (property owners making improvements and using their properties themselves), we do have a number of properties whose calendars are open. This makes a weekend getaway with family a great opportunity for you over the next few months. Contact our reservations sales team today to find that just right place waiting for you here on the Outer Banks!

All the best from the beach!
