“Crabcake” lives up to its name! We have found a scrumptious semi-oceanfront vacation rental in Corolla with all the bells and whistles, including a great ocean view, elevator, and theater room! Of course, there is a private pool and a hot tub, but you also get high quality furniture and a covered poolside sports bar with TV, full fridge with freezer for all your beverages and ice, plus a sink and granite countertops! Rain or shine you can “Belly up to the bar!” and enjoy your favorite tunes with the outdoor speakers. Inside you will find it professionally decorated with tasteful décor with amenities all will love. Get to the top level by using the elevator (you do have to take initial steps into the house for elevator access on the lower level). LCD TVs and Blu-Ray players are in all bedrooms and six of the eight bedrooms have king beds. The home theater room with 7 leather reclining seats will make for great movie nights! The great room not only has the TV and stereo with surround sound and gas fireplace…check out that ocean view off the deck! Amazing! The dining table seats 16…rare to find that large of a table in a vacation rental but you have it here…and the bar has additional seating for overflow.

“Crabcake” is situated with open space on the north side and a great ocean view. You have direct access in the back just a few steps to the walkway! It is easy to access to the beach for breaks for lunch and snacks so you can enjoy the whole day a the beach. A higher pool fence gives you more privacy in the fenced pool area and bar. This is a great location! Close enough to walk to the tennis courts and community pool, or a quick trip to the grocery store by car is a breeze. Bikers love this area just off the multi-use paths. You could bike with the kids to shopping and family activities, or just cruise the Corolla bike path. Shopping, groceries, family activities, restaurants…it’s all close by at “Crabcake”

Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 13, 2024 and May 2, 2025 until October 12, 2025. Pool heat is an available option in this property, for a fee of $400 plus tax. This property provides a $250 credit toward beach gear delivered to your rental property. *Delivery fees may apply.* Offer only good for full weeks booked with check-ins beginning between May 24, 2024 and September 1, 2024, and May 23, 2025 and August 31, 2025.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Couldn't have stayed in a better place

We just got back from a great week at this beautiful home, Crabcake. So many amenities from the poll with bar to the theater room and shuffle board and pool table. VERY short walk to the beach as well as beautiful views of the ocean from the deck. We loved the open floor plan as well. We will definitely be back!!

Crabcake

Amazing beach house, Beautifully decorated, close proximity to beach walkway and ocean, great ocean view, entertainment outside and inside, well stocked kitchen, grand dining room table that fit our entire group, TVs in every room, outside speakers, cabana, theater room. The owner was so sweet to us, I would definitely go back there and hope to every summer.

This house has it ALL!

Crabcake is a true gem! Outside you will find an inground heated pool, hot tub, yard games, a grill, lounge chairs and a amazing Cabana bar before you swing open the back gate and step onto your private path just a few feet to the beach access and you are in the sand! Inside the house is clean, well lit, spacious and modern. We had 19 in our party and everyone fit with room to spare! With the kitchen, large dining table, living room and private deck overlooking the ocean on the top floor - it was true beach living. Kids loved the first level with the movie theatre, pool table, mini kitchen and guest rooms. And the elevator makes it a breeze to move in and move out. BTW - don't miss the mural as your ride up the elevator! We hope to return each summer to the Crabcake!

Crabcake

We thought the house was very nice and perfect for 6 adult couples - we each had our own king room. The location to the beach was break, close without being too close. Ample paved parking for all of our motorcycles - which was great since that sometimes is a problem. We were close to shopping and food. The owner was great. She called on move in day to make sure we arrived safely and then any small issues that we had, she took care of immediately. she also followed up with us after we got home to make sure everyone arrived safely. I would definitely rent this house again.

Very Accommodating

I searched over 20 properties before deciding on Crabcake. It was a last-minute trip and we were thrilled to find a house that accommodated 6 couples, 6 king beds and private baths, plus two bedrooms and a bathroom we didn't use. We were steps away from the beach for those that wanted to go there and the pool was great for those that didn't venture over the dunes. The pictures are accurate to the T. At first, only a few of the TVs works (some user error)but before we were unpacked the owner called us at the house to introduce herself and couldn't have been nicer. She had to have Dish reset the signal but she kept on it until we were satisfied. There was ample refrigerator space, we loved the wet sink and fridge by the pool area. The property even has extra stand-alone ice makers for use. The elevator was great since we are at the age where our knees needed assistance.. We did notice in the dining area the light globes could have been a little less smeared (but that's probably on the cleaning folks) and really didn't affect our stay, otherwise, it was one of the cleaner rentals I've had. In over 30 years of renting, having access to the owner directly is a first so we were very impressed she took the time to call us. I would stay at this rental again without hesitation.
