First Trip - Memory Monday 2/28/2022

Greetings from the Outer Banks on this last Monday of February. We hope this finds you well, and everyone looking forward to your first trip to the Outer Banks for 2022 to come very soon.

Family Time

This time of year is the time of transition on the Outer Banks. In January and February we may see some visitors on the weekend for a quick getaway, but for the most part it is a slow, locals only, time of year. Many restaurants are closed, rental properties have construction projects going on, and it is typically cold. Now that we are approaching March very quickly things will change. Restaurants open back up for the season, projects get finished, and we start seeing more families show up to rent our properties. Spring break is just around the corner for most school aged folks, and the Outer Banks is becoming a go to location. After that Easter will arrive, and before you know it we will be on to another great summer at the Outer Banks (Memorial Day is just 91 days away)!

This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Diana Nicholson, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio who stayed with Outer Banks Blue this past fall in the Duck rental property "Near The Edge."

Diana tells us this was her little girl's first trip to the beach. She wanted to get some magical photos, and it looks like she succeeded. Take a look at these wonderful shots captured by Diana's husband.

Thank you Diana for these wonderful Memory Monday photos. We appreciate you sharing your shots, and we look forward to your little girl's second trip to the Outer Banks one day very soon.

All the best from the beach!
