Landscaping Supervisor

This is a full-time position 

Reliable transportation to report to work and ability to report on time

High school education or equivalent

Positive attitude and desire to work in a fun, rewarding environment

Communicate and correspond well with coworkers, management, owners, prospects and guests.

Knowledge in hardscape, home care, landscaping and routine lawn services

Mow, weed eat, trim bushes and everything else that is required of a landscaper

Supervise and work with landscape-lawn care crew(s)

Ability to pass drug testing

Must be able to operate and maneuver a vehicle towing a landscaping trailer

Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Basic phone and computer skills

Must be able to haul equipment, climb stairs and extension ladders to various heights 

Must be willing to work in extreme conditions (cold, heat and traffic)

Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for upkeep and proper handling

Track and record jobs, expenses, materials used and hours worked

Must be able to execute work orders alone or with crew in a timely manner 

Must be well groomed and good-natured

Excellent customer service skills and work ethics

Supervise crew on safety policies and procedures including various hardware and power equipment.

 

Work equipment/machinery is maintained regularly and safety procedures are followed

Human Resources Manager

Outer Banks Blue and Sandbridge Blue Realty Services are currently seeking to fill the position of Human Resources Manager for the companies.  This position is a not an entry level position. Here is a sampling of the duties/qualities being sought with this position:

This is a 40 hour a week salaried position.  Overtime is not expected to fulfill this position.

Reliable transportation to report to work and ability to report on time is necessary.

Positive attitude with background in human resources and a proven track record of office management.

Respond to unemployment claims, income verification requests, and processing of lien/garnishments

Process bi-weekly payroll for all Blue companies

Add new hires to the payroll system

Keep track of inactive employees in the payroll system

Organize and conduct new hire orientation sessions

Spearhead all hiring campaigns for the companies and be involved with interviewing and onboarding processes

Ensure company compliance with all fair employment practices as prescribed by local, state, and national agencies

Conduct regular training to ensure work environments are harassment free zones.

Report directly to company President on Human resources issues

Business Development Admin Assistant

Outer Banks Blue Realty Services is currently seeking to fill a position for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks and duties for management in Business Development. Duties will focus on providing support to the Vice President of Business Development. The ideal candidate should be efficient and is comfortable being in a support position sharing an office and working very closely with direct supervisor. It is important to have a positive and energetic attitude, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to organize projects by using various tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, with competence in Word, MS Excel and Outlook. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Ability to learn new tasks based on new platforms is necessary. Previous experience in real estate sales is preferable.

Responsibilities:

Compile daily lists of leads and lead follow up.

Executing and updating various reports required using Excel and various online platforms

Maintain an organized and accessible file system, both online and in department suite.

Maintain contact lists and databases

Ability to communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner by phone or email

Provide specific support to Vice President

Organize, schedule and execute various online, postal and email campaigns

Communicate with clients and prospective clients regarding completion of files and appointments

Using various online services and platforms, create and manage a variety of database folders

Work with city or county websites and staff to manage information stream between office and Government departments

Manage communication within various departments in the company from Business Dev department

Requirements

Experience and ability to excel in a fast paced professional environment

Knowledge of office systems and procedures

Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers, fax machines, etc.

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and PowerPoint in particular)

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and schedule

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and problem solving skills

Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task

Confidentiality is a priority for clients

Professional attitude and dress required at all times

Flexibility to travel between various office locations with Vice President

Property Services Technician-Carpet/Landscaper

Outer Banks Blue Realty Services is currently seeking to fill positions in our Property Services Division for the Outer Banks office.  The property services technician position is a front line representative of Outer Banks Blue.  An entry level position with several different tasks and responsibilities.  Here is a sampling of the duties/qualities being sought with this position:

This is a full-time year round position (wages based on experience)

Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation (report to work and on time)

At least a high school education

Desire to work in a fun and rewarding environment

General knowledge in lawn care, power washing, carpet cleaning, pools and spas

General knowledge of safety and procedures

Good driving record

Ability to pass drug testing

Direct supervision and accountability on performance

Responsible, respectful and resourceful to guests, owners and their properties

Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Must be able to haul equipment, climb stairs and extension ladders to various heights for job duties
