Business Development Admin Assistant 


Outer Banks Blue Realty Services is currently seeking to fill a position for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks and duties for management in Business Development. Duties will focus on providing support to the Vice President of Business Development. The ideal candidate should be efficient and is comfortable being in a support position sharing an office and working very closely with direct supervisor. It is important to have a positive and energetic attitude, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to organize projects by using various tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, with competence in Word, MS Excel and Outlook. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Ability to learn new tasks based on new platforms is necessary. Previous experience in real estate sales is preferable.


Compile daily lists of leads and lead follow up.

Executing and updating various reports required using Excel and various online platforms.

Maintain an organized and accessible file system, both online and in department suite.

Maintain contact lists and databases.

Ability to communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner by phone or email.

Provide specific support to Vice President and other management team members as necessary.

Work with senior administrative assistant to assist in requests and support as necessary.

Organize, schedule and execute various online, postal and email campaigns.

Communicate with clients and prospective clients regarding completion of files and appointments

Using various online services and platforms, create and manage a variety of database folders

Work with city or county websites and staff to manage information stream between office and Government departments

Manage communication within various departments in the company from Business Development department


Experience and ability to excel in a fast paced professional environment

Knowledge of office systems and procedures

Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers, fax machines, etc. 

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and PowerPoint in particular)

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and schedule

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and problem solving skills

Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task

Confidentiality is a priority for clients

Professional attitude and dress required at all times

Property Services Technician: Powerwashing/Landscaping

Outer Banks Blue Realty Services is currently seeking to fill positions in our Property Services Division for the Outer Banks office.  The property services technician position is a front line representative of Outer Banks Blue.  An entry level position with several different tasks and responsibilities.  Here is a sampling of the duties/qualities being sought with this position:

Full or Part-time position (wages based on experience)

Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation (report to work and on time)

High school education or equivalent

Desire to work in a fun, rewarding environment

General knowledge in power washing, landscaping, lawn care

General knowledge of safety and procedures

Clean driving record

Ability to pass drug testing

Must be able to operate a vehicle towing a landscaping trailer

Responsible, respectful and resourceful to guests, owners and their properties

Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Basic phone and computer skills

Must be able to haul equipment, climb stairs and extension ladders to various heights  

Knowledge and competent to use various hardware and power tools

Must be willing to work in extreme conditions (cold, heat, traffic)

Must be able to execute work orders in a timely manner

Property Services Pool/spa Technician

Full-time Residential Pool/spa Repair Technicians to join our rapidly growing Property Management Division. We are a customer-focused team. Positions are located in OBX NC.

Position requirements: CPO licensure, ability to lead, train, and direct pool techs, Knowledge of inventory and ordering for parts and chemicals, and have at least 2 years experience with the following:

·         troubleshooting and repair of plumbing

·         Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of 110v and 220v electrical equipment related to pools and spas

·         Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of pool equipment

·         Pool heaters

·         Pool pumps

·         Pool filters

·         Pool automation systems

·         Salt chlorine generators

·         All aspects of spa repair

·         Spa installation

Must be willing to work in the heat and the cold. Must be able to execute work orders related to guests experiencing issues at their rental property in a time appropriate manner.

Seasonal Maintenance Coordinator/ Customer Service Assistant

Outer Banks Blue Realty Services is currently seeking to fill the position of Maintenance Coordinator/ Customer Service Assistant. This position is key within the company on delivering customer service and is not an entry level position. This is a seasonal position from May- September. These are the qualifications/ qualities expected from a candidate:

-          Ability to report to work at Outer Banks Blue’s main office location

-          Reliable transportation to report to work

-          At least a high school education with some college education preferred

-          Ability to lift at least 40 pounds without difficulty

-          Basic knowledge of vacation rental operations

-          Positive attitude with background in customer service and willingness to learn

-          Ability to generate and close out work orders in company’s software system

-          Dispatch technicians to address work orders

-          Obtain information from technicians to keep property owners, guests and coworkers informed

-          Maintain communication with technicians throughout the day

-          Ability to manage constant flow of work, coordinate and communicate clearly via email, text, phone and written word

-          Regular meetings with management to review expenses and operations

-          Clearly and quickly communicate with homeowners, guests and coworkers on any issues that may arise

-          Ability to complete other duties as assigned by company management
