As a Guest Experience & Operations Specialist, you are the primary point of contact for guests, homeowners, and vendors. You’ll manage a high volume of incoming communication, troubleshoot issues in real time, and coordinate across departments to ensure every stay runs smoothly.
This is a fast-paced, problem-solving role for someone who thrives on helping people and keeping things moving.
What You’ll Do
Be the First Point of Contact
- Manage all incoming calls, emails, and messages from guests, homeowners, and vendors
- Navigate a wide range of needs—from booking inquiries to in-stay concerns to operational questions
Support Guests at Every Stage
- Assist guests planning their vacation and guide them through the booking process
- Help arriving guests with pre-arrival questions and details
- Support in-house guests by addressing concerns and resolving issues in real time
Troubleshoot & Problem Solve
- Diagnose guest-reported issues over the phone (appliances, access, amenities, etc.)
- Resolve concerns when possible during the first interaction
- Create detailed work orders when issues require escalation
- Ensure clear and accurate communication is passed to the appropriate department
Coordinate Across Teams
- Act as the communication hub between guests and internal departments (maintenance, housekeeping, property services, etc.)
- Provide timely updates and ensure follow-through on guest needs
Drive a Positive Experience
- Maintain professionalism and empathy in high-pressure situations
- Look for opportunities to enhance the guest experience, even when resolving issues

Job Description:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring vacation rental properties are fully prepared for guest and owner arrivals. This role includes conducting detailed inspections of each property, including but not limited to appliances, electronics, locks, and overall cleanliness, to confirm all aspects meet company standards.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between multiple properties throughout the day
- Smartphone capable of downloading and using required applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in property inspections, hospitality, or maintenance (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Job Summary
Outer Banks Blue is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This is a front-line representative to our property owners and guests. This is an entry level position with many different tasks and responsibilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations in various properties on the Outer Banks. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment that supports our operational excellence. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance practices.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on household equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to prevent downtime and ensure safety standards are met.
- Respond to guest and property owner maintenance requests with a positive and customer service oriented attitude.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues within your abilities.
- Perform minor repairs including audio/visual systems, plumbing, and light construction repairs.
- Assist other team members with projects when necessary, demonstrating leadership and customer service skills to coordinate with other departmental staff or contractors.
Qualifications
- Excellent driving record and ability to be put on company auto insurance policy.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- At least a high school education.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- General knowledge of work safety.
- Positive "get it done" attitude and team player.
- General knowledge of maintenance procedures such as: light plumbing repairs, electronic device troubleshooting and repair, light construction, air filter replacements,, painting, dry wall repair to name a few.
- Must be able to carry an extension ladder, use it properly and climb the ladder to safe heights to execute jobs as needed.
- Ability to read use company provided phone with applications regarding assignment and completion of work orders.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and report issues clearly.
- Have accountablity for job performance and comport yourself in a professional manner.
