Housekeeping Assistant Manager 

This is a full-time, hourly position. Here is a sampling of the duties/qualities being sought with this position:

·         Supports Operations Team in accomplishing overall operational functionality, focusing on Housekeeping but also including homeowner relations, guest services, maintenance, etc. 

·         Overall objective of ensuring Housekeeping employee satisfaction and retention of managed rental property owners while also ensuring outstanding guest services

·         Ensure accurate and timely communications with all departments

·         Organize an efficient scheduling process

·         Occasionally inspect properties for guest/owner arrival to assure satisfaction

·         Report issues of maintenance via email to Maintenance Coordinator

·         Report and correct Housekeeping paperwork issues with individual Housekeeping crews

·         Ensure all property housekeeping issues are handled timely

·         Ensure the accuracy of all accounting and payroll functions as it relates to the Housekeeping Department

·         Communicate effectively and efficiently with outside vendors

·         Ensure that all paperwork associated with the department is accurate and timely

·         Ensure effective relations with all other departments

·         Complete all assigned reports in an accurate and timely manner

·         Work orders must be up-to-date and provide an accurate history for all readers

·         Complete additional assigned projects and tasks accurately and timely

·         Develop a working knowledge of Streamline management software

 

Qualifications:

    

 Education and/or Experience Required at Entry:

•             Valid driver’s license

•             At least two years of customer service experience

•             A Bachelor Degree from an Accredited University

 

 

 Skills, Abilities, Special Licenses or Certificate: 

             Computer skills including Word, Excel

             Organizational skills

             Ability to interact with Housekeeping employees

             Ability to pleasantly interact in an office environment

             Ability to follow through on completion of assigned projects

             Working knowledge of Spanish a plus

 

Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: 

             Professional attire may be casual Friday, Saturday and Sunday

             Air-conditioned office

             Ability to deal with owners of vacation rental properties that maybe upset about a situation

             Requires occasionally driving to properties

Reservations Sales Agent

Outer Banks Blue Realty Services is seeking to fill the position of Reservations Agent for the Kitty Hawk office location.  The Reservation Agent position is a front line representative of Outer Banks Blue.  This is an entry level position with many different tasks and responsibilities.  Here is a sampling of the duties/qualities being sought with this position:

-Ability to report to work on time is mandatory

-Reliable transportation to report to work at our Kitty Hawk office location

-Computer mastery including typing skills, and various basic software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)

-At least a high school education

-Positive attitude with background in customer service with a willingness to learn and excel

-Ability to pass a drug test is a requirement of the position

-Desire to work in a fun and rewarding environment

-Polished phone personality and sales mindset is critical to success

-Direct supervision and accountability on performance is a part of this job

-Maintain and follow up with leads through our lead management software

-Ability to respond to emails from guests and home owners in an intelligent and thoughtful manner

-Responding to emails with no typographical or grammatical errors

-Reserve vacation rental properties over the phone and extensive follow up with guests

-Continuous preparation of arrivals info for our guests

-Generate work orders for guests experiencing issues at their rental property.

-Organize and maintain information needed for the company to ensure a smooth rental season

-Able to interact with coworkers in a positive way

-Dress in professional office attire

Maintenance Technician

Outer Banks Blue Realty Services is currently seeking to fill the position of Maintenance Technician for their Outer Banks office.  The Maintenance Technician position is a front line representative of Outer Banks Blue.  This is an entry level position with several different tasks and responsibilities.  Here is a sampling of the duties/qualities being sought with this position:

-This is a 40 hour a week position, wage is to be determined from experience

-Reliable transportation to report to work and ability to report to work on time is mandatory

-At least a high school education

-Desire to work in a fun and rewarding environment

-General knowledge in maintenance procedures

-General knowledge in work safety

-Good driving record

-Able to pass a drug test

-Direct supervision and accountability on performance is a part of this job

-Perform general maintenance on rental properties (from light plumbing repairs, electronic device troubleshooting and repair, and light construction)

-Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

-Must be able to stand for long periods of time

-Must be able to carry an extension ladder, use it properly and climb the ladder to safe heights to execute jobs as needed

-Must have knowledge and ability to use various hardware tools

-Must be competent and experienced with power tools

-Must be willing to work in extreme heat and cold.

-Execute work orders for guests experiencing issues at their rental property in a timely manner.

-Well groomed
