I will start with the many positives- the house was very spacious and easily accommodated our 10 adults and 4 kids. It was a very private setting given it was in more of a suburban setting. The dining table was a great size and we were able to eat dinner around it every night. Everything was clean when we checked in and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The top floor bedroom and bathroom were amazing! Beautifully redone! It was an easy walk to the beach through the backyard path, but it was a walk. It took us about 7 minutes to get to the beach from the house (we are in our 40's and decent shape). People who struggle walking longer distances may be caught off guard by the length of the walk. When we booked the house we thought the shuttle service sounded great, but it's important to note it only runs M-F from 10-3pm. I occasionally saw it driving around, but if were waiting on it to go to the beach it could have been awhile. One of the rooms on the second floor stayed hot most of the vacation unless we were able to leave the bedroom door open. At first we thought it was because there was no vent in the room, but we finally found it under a nightstand and it was closed. Even upon opening the vent there was no air flow to it for some reason. The outdoor pool and hot tub area was very nice. It was nice that they had a few additional beach chairs for us to use as we didnt bring any for the kids due to space in the car. The grill outside was great until it ran out of gas. We couldnt find a back up tank anywhere and ended up having to cook everything inside. In a house this size there should absolutely be a back up propane tank. The house also had three bikes that the kids and some of the adults enjoyed riding around. The driveway set up is odd. You can put two cars in the car port and then park three horizontally so three cars are able to be accessed if needed. I'd say if you had more then 5 cars (I believe it advertises 7) parking would be a huge pain and you'd constantly be moving cars around. Overall a great house and fun place to stay with multiple families!
Thanks for your 5-Star review. We apologize that someone closed the a/c vent in that bedroom. We also typically have a 2nd propane gas grill available at the property in case you run out of gas. We would have been happy to deliver an exchange of the tank when it ran out so be sure to call us next time. Glad you had such a great stay with us and hope you come back again soon.Posted: 8/22/2023
