Were you awake this morning at 6:36 to welcome the sun and to welcome the month of March? We were and what a spectacular sight. Temperatures in the mid-60's, clear skies and light southerly winds have March coming in like a lamb.
Springtime coming?
The last few days we have heard several times how March 1st marks the beginning of "Meterological spring." It is defined as the transition between the three coldest and the three warmest months on the calendar. It makes perfect sense with that explanation and it gets us excited about more time at the beach!
This week's memory Monday photo submission reminds us of this morning's sunrise. It comes to us from Daniel Glaze of Henrico, Virginia. Daniels stayed with us last fall in the property "Southern Paws." That is one of our many properties which accepts pets at no additional charge, and Daniel shares this photo with us.
Daniel described a great relaxing week in Corolla with his family and said "even the dog enjoyed the vacation."
