Sunsets and Beach scenes
This week’s Memory Monday brings us two submissions (we’ve had a lot of submissions recently)…one from the beach, and one from the soundside.
Fun Family Beach Activities In The Outer Banks
For some, an ideal day on the beach means spreading out a towel, popping on some headphones, and soaking up some sun. But for others (especially those with children or large groups), a day at the beach should involve plenty of activities, games, and water sports. Whether you plan to spend a day or two of your Outer Banks beach vacation splashing in the surf with the kids, or you are on the lookout for some serious wave surfing, the beaches of the Outer Banks offer plenty of activities to keep everyone busy.
Today we call attention to and congratulate one of our own. Outer Banks Blue’s company president Tim Cafferty was quoted in this past Sunday’s New York Times in the travel section (4/3/11). In an article on “Grabbing Vacation Rental Deals” writer Michelle Higgins highlighted several locations around the country and commented on the booking pace for the upcoming summer season. In her comments on the Outer Banks, Tim Cafferty was exclusively quoted where he indicated that Outer Banks Blue was experiencing excellent bookings for the upcoming season, and anyone looking to take a vacation in July and August needed to make their reservations very soon. Outer Banks Blue has several natural price reductions in August and those were highlighted for budget minded travelers.
