WOW! Talk about your famous Outer Banks sunsets! “Sunset Retreat” is a sound front property in Duck for your family and friends that will give you sunsets galore! The house has plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the sound front pool and lawn area gives the kids a place to play while you enjoy the view. The huge top level great room has hardwood flooring, fabulous sound views and deck access, large kitchen with lots of cabinet space and bar sink. The media room has a theatre feel and the rec room with full size pool table has a dry bar and patio access leading to the private pool. Can’t unplug the entire week? There is a private study with desk and work area for you to catch up, and get out to the beach!

This property is made for entertaining! The great room and kitchen area offers plenty of space for cooking, meals, and hanging out. Two sets of washer/dryer combos make it easy to wash clothes. Decks on mid and top levels have panoramic sound views. Mid level den gives the kids another hang out space and there are decks, decks and more decks to enjoy the coastal breezes while you relax.

All Outer Banks Blue vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant, and 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per sink. Kitchens include drying towels. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper.

Awesome Property for Large Families
Our family of 16 stayed at this property for a week during the 4th of July holiday. It is very accommodating for large families. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. 2 sets of washer/dryer was handy for washing all of the pool / beach towels. The kitchen / dining area was large enough for all of us to eat together. The kids were entertained in the theatre room with movies and gaming. The pool table room also had a large TV that the kids used for other gaming devices. We were pleasantly surprised to find the large office on the 1st floor that one of us used for an unavoidable work conference call. Wifi service was great on every floor. We also found a sitting room on the 2nd floor leading out to the balcony with a large sofa and another TV that we did not remember reading about when we booked. This house has many seating areas and places to have alone time if you are looking for it. We were so busy during our stay that we never turned the TV on in any room (except the kids gaming in the evenings). The pool was steps out the door with a hot tub and large grill. The beach was a close walk and the downtown area was a short drive. The long dock out to the sound side with bench seating was enjoyable in the evenings. Highly recommend this property and the property management was awesome to work with.

Sunset Retreat
This will be our 3rd year staying in this home. It’s perfect for our big family. There is Plenty of room in the pool for the kids to play and a dock that provides great fishing! We have a blast every year at this little piece of heaven in the OBX!
