The top level offers sound views inside and out, whether you are cooking, eating, reading, or enjoying the breeze on the deck! Multiple gathering areas include the living room, sunroom, theater room, rec room, and outdoor living galore! This home caters to your beach vacation dreams with a private dock, luxurious pool, sound front firepit, game room, media room and more. 

Sound front in Kitty Hawk’s First Flight Ridge, amazing sound views offer sunsets every night from inside and the pool area and backyard. Located on a hill overlooking the sound, the bike path, and a great private dock for your use, this home is a treasure to make family memories come true. The pool, hot tub, and firepit also share amazing water views. Safely located in a gated community, you will be just a quick drive to area attractions, restaurants, and your pick of beach accesses.

Hardwood flooring on the top two floors and ceramic tile on the ground-level is the foundation for a lovely experience. The large granite island has space for everyone to hang out and help prepare meals! All the work is complemented by sound views. Several bedrooms have great sound views and the sunroom on the top level gives you a place to spread out without missing the view or each other. 

The private pool also has great water views! Imagine soaking in the hot tub watching the children in the pool, all while watching the sunset over the sound. The dock is a great place to tie up your kayaks (bring or rent them), thrill the kids by catching crabs and having a feast that night, or just relax and enjoy the sunset. The bike path is practically in your backyard so bring or rent bikes for miles of exploring. The quiet, gated community is a great place for walking.

Additional Amenity Details:
Private Pools are open starting the first weekend in May through the second weekend in October. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Pets are not allowed in pools under any circumstances. An additional fee will be charged to the leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning, or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. Hot tubs are available year-round. The fireplace seen in the photos is non-functioning and not available for use. This property provides a $250 credit toward beach gear delivered to your rental property. *Delivery fees may apply.* Offer only good for full weeks booked with check-ins beginning between May 22, 2026 and September 6, 2026.


All Outer Banks Blue vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper.

Amazing Vacation!
Another year in the books in one of our new favorite homes. We have never stayed sound front, ocean front has always been my preference until we found this home. It had everything that you need plus the most amazing sunset views. It is pet friendly with a beautiful backyard, where we spect much of our time. We plan to rebook this property in the future!

Beautiful house
We have stayed at this house before - prior to the current owners. The upgrades that have been done are absolutely wonderful - great job! The new outdoor area has added so much to the house! We enjoyed the million dollar views with evening sunsets and roasting marshmallows at our fire pit! Kayaking and paddle boarding on the sound is always a must for any trip to OBX! The new deck and pool furniture are top quality and was enjoyed by all. House is pet friendly but was spotless upon arrival - would never know it’s a pet friendly house! This area is a peaceful retreat and great for those who want a slower relaxing vibe! We definitely plan to return - this house has it all and provided us a lovely vacation!

Beautiful house!
We enjoyed this house very much! Beautiful view from the living & dining areas, as well as the pool area. It’s located in a gorgeous community that’s close to everything you can imagine. Cons included the mini split in the sunroom having some issues, the kitchen pots and pans could’ve been a little better stocked, and there was a minor leak in the bunk room on the ground floor the last day we were there (we believe from the sprinklers that were on quite often). Overall a great experience, would stay there again!

Beautiful Home!
I cannot say enough about this beautiful home! There is a ton of space, the home is decorated beautifully but still had a comforting feel throughout. The outdoor area is perfect and the dock was great for sitting out and reading. This location allowed quick access to shopping, great restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and sooooo relaxing
I stayed at this house with a few of my friends on a long weekend and it was so beautiful! The house is very comfortable and each bedroom has plenty of room. The area is very quiet with a wonderful walking path behind it. It was very easy to get in and out of the community and there was tons of great places to eat and shop! Very close access to the beach and easy to get to! This trip was the most relaxing I've been on in a long time! I will definitely book again!

Amazing family home!
Our two families rented this beautiful beach house in October of 2022 and we were thrilled. The house is on a nice quiet street but near PLENTY of things to do around town. The private community was easy to get in and out of to the highway. We took many walks/bike rides with the family and enjoyed the secluded and friendly walking paths that took us around the neighborhood, the bay, and other neighborhoods in the area! We felt 100% safe letting our kids run around the neighborhood and property without supervision. The house is clean and fully loaded with modern appliances and furnishings. The game room kept our kids busy for hours and the pool was great for lazy days at home. Also the dock access was awesome for fishing in the bay! We caught a couple of fish (and threw them back) but one of our families boys were out there day and night having a blast fishing. Overall this house was a lovely experience and we look forward to a future visit!

Answer:

This property is located 4600 feet from the beach. The best way to access the beach would be to drive and use one of the public accesses in Kitty Hawk. The nearest beach access would be at the Kitty Hawk Bath House.
