KH003-Blue Bungalow

The house was beautifully decorated, cozy, and well-appointed with everything we needed. We chose it because it was dog-friendly, and it was that and more. We were close to the beach and to lots of good spots in Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. The winter weather was mild so we were able to enjoy the screened porch and the hot tub. The showers were hot and the water pressure was around. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable. We cooked one night and had everything necessary to make a full meal.

Yes. The place is beautiful and they gave us a beautiful cutting board as a memory. And had a dog bowl waiting for us. Just a lot of things that made it special. And games there.

Spent a long weekend at the Blue Bungalow and it was a perfect spot. The Bungalow was comfortable with plenty of room. Nice size table to gather around for meal and evening games. It was only a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay at the Blue Bungalow again.

Very nice personal touches from the owners, including a generous welcome gift for us and for our dog and ahandwritten note, plus they left the lights on for our arrival. The property is clean and well stocked and has plenty of charm. It's a quick and easy walk to the beach or a great local restaurant, or you can enjoy the breeze on the screened in deck. This was our second visit and we still absolutely love this house.

Loved the house, Blue Bungalow. It is in a perfect location as there were two ways to get North (Corolla, Walmart) that made it so easy to arrive and depart as well. Also so close to the beach that the walk was no more than 5 minutes with a very easy access that included outdoor showers. The house itself was so beautiful and cozy. My family was really at home that we already booked next year at the Blue Bungalow. Also, Clayton was so welcoming in his messages and answered any and all questions! Thank you so much

Blue Bungalow was the perfect small house for us after being in a much larger home the week prior for our son’s wedding. There was an issue with the A/C when we first arrived but Outer Banks Blue maintenance resolved the matter very quickly! The owners have done a great job in updating and making sure their guests stay is enjoyable. We also liked this location, close to everything! We would definitely stay again!

We want you to know that we found the Blue Bungalow to be an absolute delight during our stay 3 May - 10 May, 2025. We have been to the Outer Banks many time over the past 30 years as our eldest son’s family resides there. You home suited us perfectly. It was close to the beach, grocery store, and our son’s house was only about 2 miles away. When we come back to that part of the world, the Blue Bungalow will be our first choice. We were very comfortable there.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Bungalow! The property is well equipped, clean, and had the cutest beachy vibe. The location is fantastic being just a short walk to the beach. The property owners left a very sweet and thoughtful gift and card upon arrival. Little details like that really make a trip extra special. I highly recommend this property. It was in a perfect location for exploring during the off season... walking distance to open shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. The owners could not have been more welcoming...leaving thoughtful gifts for our stay which was so kind and appreciated. Would definitely recommend blue bungalow!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Blue Bungalow. It is literally 2 minutes' walk to the beach (and it was a great beach!) The kitchen was well-equipped. All the beds were very comfy, but the two king-sized beds were a real bonus. The jacuzzi was enjoyed by all of us, especially our grandson. The outdoor shower was a sand-saver for sure! We went shrimping, so the extra refrigerator/freezer downstairs was appreciated! It was everything we wanted - a great stay. Thank you!

My family and I stayed at the Blue Bungalow over Spring Break. This was our second time visiting the Outer Banks but our first time staying at this property. We were so impressed with this home! It has a very beachy vibe. The rooms are spacious, and the updates have been tastefully done. We loved the enclosed porch! The large dining area is very comfortable, and the bathrooms were very nice. The information screen in the living room is great! We were incredibly comfortable in this home. The owners were also very welcoming, leaving a nice care package to get us started, including a dog bowl for our pets! Unfortunately, our dogs didn't get to come with us on this trip, but we thought that was such a thoughtful gesture. There were also several books and board games available, which was really nice. The home is located in great proximity to the beach and to several shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, most of the restaurants near us were closed for the season when we were there, but we look forward to returning when they are open for business. There were several grocery stores nearby, and we walked to Walgreens a couple of times as it could be accessed from the end of the street. This was such a relaxing trip for our family. We enjoyed it immensely and never ran out of things to do! We look forward to returning and would love to stay at the Blue Bungalow again!

This lovely cottage was a great find. Very well designed and felt very welcoming. We arrived when the weather wasn't great and had taken a toll on the screened in porch but the owner took care of the problem promptly. He seemed to care about making our vacation a good one and it was nice to meet him. The next week was beautiful. We had a small problem with the air conditioner but Outer Banks Blue had it fixed right away. Would love to come back another 2 weeks but with the economy and gas prices unfortunately we will not be able to at this time. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a happy place without any worries.

We fell in love with this property, great location, beautifully decorated, equipped with many conveniences to make our stay easier and more comfortable. The hot tub was a huge plus during the off season and the beach was within walking distance for a nice spring day walk. We didn't need the owners for anything but they checked in to ensure our stay was going well which was appreciated.

Although because of a sickness and death in the family we were only there 1 week of the 7 the location was great. The decor and house were great. Would rent again for sure. And also Outer Banks Blue was very attentive during the time frame we actually have rented for 10 years from OBB
