All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Want to do it all, or do nothing at all? This is a great rental either way. Located on a quiet street, but close to it all. Relax on either of two decks, join family fun in the great room, grill out back, or cook in a well appointed kitchen, it’s all here. Want a sunrise, it’s a short walk to the ocean and beautiful beach with access without leaving the community. How about a sunset? Then walk a short distance to the Bay. Plenty of parking, bicycles, kid friendly so much to offer. We had a very special vacation at the Salty Sandpiper. 5 vacation because of a r star property.

We really enjoyed our stay in Duck and the house is very spacious, very clean on the interior, and has super easy access to the beach. The neighborhood is beautiful. It's less than a 5 minute drive to the community pool and about a 5 minute drive into town (we also biked into town a number of times). The only negative about this property is the outside of the house has a major bug problem that needs to be addressed (wasps, spiders, flies, cobwebs everywhere, roaches, etc...). We raised the issue during our stay and Outer Banks Blue was awesome and immediately sent out an exterminator. But the house needs to be power washed on the outside to get rid of all the cobwebs (which are filled with small bugs) covering the decks and outer surfaces. The house has a great hot tub, but we only used it twice during our stay (and it was unusable at night) due to the infestation of bugs. So, it is a great house and in a great location, but needs some clean up on the outside to get 5 stars. That said, we would rent with Outer Banks Blue again for sure!

Awesome house. The was in perfect condition. Very close to the beach and close to everything else. I’ll definitely be going back and soon!
My family had such a great, relaxing vacation at this home. It was all great!! Our first impression was the beautiful shaded yard and front deck. Then, once inside, the house has such a huge open area for the family to be together, even while you may be cooking (well equipped kitchen too!)...and the family is playing at the game table. Beds are super comfortable and we slept so well because of the quiet area. We enjoyed the many decks especially in the mornings (watching the Osprey fly overhead) and in the evenings looking out over the pond. It's a quick walk to the beach...the shaded, tree-lined road made the walk was really nice. We'll be back, for sure!
