Description Description

No “Fowl Play” at this beautiful Duck oceanside house with a Private Pool, Hot Tub, and allows dogs! It even has an ELEVATOR. Stunning appointments include hardwood flooring, granite countertops, and tasteful décor. All six bedrooms have their own master bath and an LCD TV for your own private oasis when you need some quiet time. But if you like to play, this is the house for you! The outside living space around the pool includes ample decking around the pool for plenty of space to hang out and get some sun. Make sure to come in the fall and spring too, because the pool can be heated if you like. The ELEVATOR gives easy access to all floors for any family member and makes unloading and loading up so much easier.

Games galore should be the name here! Inside there is a full-size pool table with a large wet bar for the whole gang, horseshoes, and basketball goal. “Fowl Play” is located right in the middle of Duck Village in Saltaire, for easy walking to the village for shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, vegetable stand, and fish market. This is a great place to walk the dog and see the sights. Or, for the more active set, you can take the multi-use path and walk or bike for miles along the northern Outer Banks down through Southern Shores and up through Pine Island and beyond.

Pets are not allowed in pools under any circumstances. An additional fee will be charged to leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. Hot tubs are available year-round. Gas fireplaces are shut down from May 15 until September 15. This property provides a $250 credit toward beach gear delivered to your rental property. *Delivery fees may apply.* Offer only good for full weeks booked with check-ins beginning between May 23, 2025 and August 31, 2025, and May 22, 2026 and September 4, 2026.


All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. Beautiful home
This house is a beautiful home that is very well maintained and stocked with what you need for vacation. This was our 1st time coming down this time of year and it was so peaceful. My only bug a boo is they are changing it to not pet friendly for next year. Would rent again, but can't bear to not bring my doggie. :(

Excellent RENTAL! So Sad to find out...
Just paid our final deposit for Thanksgiving week 2024. This will be our 11th year renting Fowl Play for our annual family gathering, we are so sad to learn it will be our last, the home is already rented for 2025(we always paid the first deposit for the next year over a year in advance, which I was prepared to do today). While we are very disappointed to no longer be able to use our home away from home (plus continue to enjoy the great updates the new owners continue to provide) We wanted to provide one last review in advance-this has been and know it will continue to be an excellent rental!!! GREAT UPDATES!
This was our 9th Thanksgiving in Fowl Play!!! The new owners are making wonderful updates to the home! The new furniture, fresh interior paint and decor very much appreciated! LOVE SEEING THE NEW ATTENTION! The rug throughout the home and tiled showers need attention -note we did not use small tile shower in upstairs bedroom, the tile and grout very much are in need of attention. Almost gave a 4 Star because of the 2 tiled showers poor condition-HOWEVER, in the short time of new ownership the home has received so many other necessary updates we are confident we will see these improvements in time. We used the other available shower units which were in very good condition. We have booked for 2023 Thanksgiving! We are excited with the new ownership that we will be able to call Fowl Play our family Thanksgiving HOME for years to come!

The best Vacation Home in NC
If you are looking for a place to stay for your entire family, this is the best place to be. It’s very close to the beach (about a 5 minute walk). The view from every floor is amazing specially the 3rd floor where all your family members can cook and gather while having fun. They also have a variety of board games and a billiard pool located at the ground floor. And not to mention that this house has an elevator so you don’t have to use the stairs to bring all your groceries upstairs. They even offer a discount if you are a repeater. Our family surely had fun during our stay and we can’t wait to go back!
