Good day from the Outer Banks. We continue to have a magical summer here on the beach. Wonderful weather, great people vacationing in the area, and a positive vibe prevails. This week’s Memory Monday gives us a warm and fuzzy feeling. It is a first time boogie boarding event.
Cooling off in the ocean
Let’s face it. It has been downright hot this summer. We read somewhere recently that this past July was the hottest since the weather people have been keeping records. What better way to cool off on a hot summer day than getting in the ocean and riding a boogie board? How about doing it for the first time with your dad?!
This week’s Memory Monday photo submission came to us over the weekend and we loved it so much we posted it right away! Special thanks to Heather Ward of Arnold, Maryland who stayed with us this past week at the Duck rental property “Laughing Duck.”
This is a picture of Heather’s favorite memory. “My 2 1/2 year old learned how to ride a body board with her dad. She rode over and over. Staying just 6 houses from the ocean made it easy to spend lots of time in the ocean.”

Now THAT looks like a lot of fun and a great way to avoid the summer heat! Thank you Heather for sharing your photo memories with us. We look forward to serving you and your family again soon. We can’t wait to see pictures of next year’s boogie boarding experience with what will be your 3 1/2 year old at that time!
All the best from the beach!
