Heavenly View - Memory Monday 2/22/2021

Greetings from a cool and blustery Outer Banks. We are not complaining as our weather has been heavenly compared to some areas of the country over the last week. We have received a lot of rain, and we even had a thunderstorm, but no frozen precipitation so far this year!

Aerial view

One of the great opportunities for guests vacationing on the Outer Banks is to take an airplane tour of the area. This week's Memory Monday photo submission is an example of the great views you get from a few thousand feet up.

Special thanks to Cheryle Mullins of Parkersburg, West Virginia who stayed with Blue last fall. The Kitty Hawk vacation rental "The Haven" was the Mullins' home base that week.

This weeks photo comes with a quick note from Cheryle. "Time spent on the Outer Banks is always the best, but staying in a house steps from the Beach is heavenly! Thanks Outer Banks Blue for terrific service! Our favorite activity this year was flying with Capt. Andy and seeing the Barrier Island Tour. Here is the most memorable photo from the flight. This is the remnants of Shelly Island."

Heavenly

Thanks Cheryle for sharing your photo memories. We look forward to serving you and your family again soon.

All the best from the beach!
