Horsin' Around - Memory Monday 5/10/2021

Good Monday morning. We hope all of the mothers had a wonderful Mother's day yesterday. Maybe you enjoyed some beach time. Or maybe you went out to eat with your children. Or maybe you spent the day horsin' around.

Corolla wild horses

This year the Corolla wild horses have captured more attention than ever. Visitors to the Outer Banks have long been mesmerized by the Colonial Spanish mustangs that roam the beaches north of Corolla. We are big supporters (and encourage you to be as well) of the Corolla Wild Horse Fund. This non-profit exists solely to protect, conserve and responsibly manage the herd.

This week's memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Sandy Otten of Sanford, North Carolina who enjoyed a day on the northern beaches with her Granddaughter Bri, and Daughter Christi. As they were on the beach they happened upon these beauties.

Horsin'

Thank you Sandy for sharing such a wonderful picture. Thank you too for being respectful of the horses and staying a safe distance from the animals. They need their space, and we need to give it to them so they can be enjoyed for generations to come.

As always remember we post a new photo from one of our guests here each week, and monthly we randomly choose a winner of our photo contest to win $100 off your next year's rental with Outer Banks Blue.

We look forward to Horsin' around with your favorite photo memories here very soon.

All the best from the beach!
