Greetings from a picture perfect Monday here on the Outer Banks. The temperatures will be in the mid-80 degree range today, the sun is shining, and it is a perfect time to be on the beach. That leads us to our weekly segment here on Everything Outer Banks - Memory Monday. Or this week we are saying Merman Monday.
Mermaids and Mermen
You are probably aware of the mythical aquatic creature from folklore made up of an upper body of a woman, and the lower body of a fish. Similarly a Merman is the male equivalent and counterpart to a Mermaid. Today we have been fortunate enough to have one of our guests capture a picture of a young one that visited the Outer Banks recently.
