Happy Monday! We hope this note finds you enjoying a relaxing day! The fact is that Monday's are not usually very relaxing, so we hope our weekly post helps you have a few moments of a get away to our little slice of heaven.

The Outer Banks has a very poorly held secret. That is that the fall on the OBX is simply fabulous! Yesterday we did have the remnants of a tropical weather system steamroll through the area, but today the temperatures are going to be in the 70's, it will be sunny, and you could jump in the ocean if you wanted (provided the red flags are not flying).
This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Lindsay Amie who stayed with us at Outer Banks Blue and provided us this great picture that she entitled "relaxing on the beach."
Yes, the water is as warm and comfy as you think it may be! We just love days like this on the Outer Banks when you can walk along the shore and not see anyone coming the other way for quite a while. THIS is why so many of us that live here consider ourselves lucky.
