Greetings from a tropical feeling Outer Banks! We are being greeted today on this Monday by temperatures in the 70's and we have bright sunshine. It feels like Spring has arrived a couple of weeks early. This week's Memory Monday photo submission reminds us of spring as we call this edition Soundside fun.
Daylight Saving Time
starts this coming weekend! The sun has been setting at about 6:30 over the last few days, but next week at this time it will not set until 7:30 PM. That gives us more time to play after work, or if you are vacationing - more time to enjoy the outside. Whatever you think of as fun, whether it be playing at the beach, taking a bike ride, or having some soundside fun in a kayak, we will all have more time to do just that.
This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Tracy Coogle of Henrico, Virginia who stayed with us at Outer Banks Blue in the Duck area vacation rental "Sunset Retreat." As you can see her family had a great time. Tracy says the sunsets were spectacular all week when they were here. She also had great fun kayaking, and just enjoying some family time. This picture is of Tracy's mom who needed some rest and recovery time. She got it with the trip to Duck.
Tracy also tells us the house was great for bird photography. Osprey, Great Blue Herons, and all manner of birds came in close view during the stay. It sounds like the Coogle family had a great vacation!
