Sun Will Come Out - Memory Monday 4/16/18

Greetings from a wet OBX on this Monday morning.   We had a strong line of thunderstorms roll through this morning that woke us up and cleaned off our cars so we are seeing some clouds this morning.   But just as it is sung in the musical Annie - The Sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow...there will be sun!Indeed thunderstorms are just par for the course on a barrier island, and another thing those storms bring is amazing rainbows. That brings us to this week's Memory Monday photo submission that comes to us from Nancy Barnes of Colonial Heights, Virginia who stayed with Outer Banks Blue last year at the Kill Devil Hills vacation rental "Shades of Blue."Shades of Blue has an oceanfront hot tub, and it accepts dogs (for no extra charge) so Nancy's entire family was able to enjoy the house.  Check out the family's "Chi" enjoying some relaxation at the beach on her own beach towel.  Nancy told us when she sent this picture that her dog actually "lived at the beach" during their stay!Dog on the beachNancy and her family also enjoyed the property's hot tub...Hot tub rainbowand they caught this amazing rainbow in the background.  Actually if you look closely you can see that it is a double rainbow.   If you use your imagination you may even think the rainbow is pointing to the hot tub as a pot of gold that is always found at the end.Rainbow shotNow that is a great picture!   An oceanfront hot tub being used while a rainbow appears on the ocean.   Wow.   Now that is a Memory Monday photo!  Thanks Nancy, we appreciate your pictures and we see that you and your family are headed back to Shades of Blue this year too.   We look forward to serving you and your family again soon. All the best from the beach.
