Thumbs up to our OBX Family Vacation
This week’s Memory Monday Photo submission comes to us from Tanya Reimer of Beamsville, Ontario, Canada who recently stayed with Outer Banks Blue at the property “Beach House on The Moon” in Duck. Tanya shares this photo which symbolizes the feeling of the entire Outer Banks Blue staff today…..”Thumbs up! Summer is here!” Today, Memorial Day, marks the official start of the summer season here on the Outer Banks. Our roads are a bit busier, the beach has a few more people laying on it today, and the sun seems to be just a little bit hotter. Even though we still have a few days left in May we are all in a summer mind set here on the Outer Banks, and we look forward to seeing you here soon! As Tanya would say “Thumbs up” for an Outer Banks Blue vacation! All the best from the beach!
Outer Banks Beach Nourishment Update
Michelle Niles visits Nags head beaches the week of August 6 to report the progress of the Nags Head Beach Nourishment project to our upcoming and interested viewers! The beaches are bigger and better in the areas where this project is completed and guests who are on the beach, are not letting this ruin their beach vacation! They are playing volleyball, reading under their umbrellas and sailing the day away on the water!

Family Fun on the Beach in OBX
So here’s a teaser for the hot summer weather for everyone to enjoy this week from Kim Turano of Holbrook, New York. Kim and her family enjoyed a vacation with Outer Banks Blue over the Memorial Day week in Kill Devil Hills this year in the property “Casa Mia.”
Doug Kennedy’s visit to the Outer Banks Blue
Outer Banks Blue’s staff is known for delivery of great customer service, and our reservations sales team is recognized as one of the best in the business. This isn’t by accident. Company President Tim Cafferty is dedicated to staff training unlike many others. Tim recently brought Doug Kennedy to the Outer Banks to conduct a full day reservations sales training and customer service program so the Outer Banks Blue and Sandbridge Blue Realty Services staff could “sharpen their skills” prior to the upcoming summer season.
Beautiful Morning in Kitty Hawk
The temperatures have broken records both cold and warm so far this year! Groundhog day predicts an earlier Spring and we all are in hopes that this is true. Michelle Niles visits the beach in Kitty Hawk on Thursday February 17 in the morning hours. The water looks blue green, as a tropical island right here on the Outer Banks! Come see and enjoy all that Outer Banks Blue can provide you!
