Memory Monday 12/31/12

Somewhere over the rainbow     This week’s Memory Monday submission (our last Memory Monday of the year 2012) comes to use from Daphne Uliana of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania who stayed with Outer Banks Blue this past July in the property “High Dune” in the Osprey subdivision in Duck.   Daphne snapped this picture looking south from the deck of “High Dune” capturing a perfect rainbow over the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck.   Rainbows are often seen after summer showers on the Outer Banks, and locals claim because the proverbial “pot of gold” at the end of a rainbow leads to these golden beaches.
Rainbow over Duck!
As we begin the new year let’s all hope to find the pot gold at the end of the rainbow!     All the best from the beach!
