Memory Monday 3/11/13

Just Hanging Out

This week's Memory Monday Photo submission comes to us from Caitlin Longenecker of Leola, Pennsylvania who stayed with Outer Banks Blue last August in the property "Pink Sunsets" in Duck.
All smiles (except for one)
This picture looks like it was taken at the Waterfront shoppes in Duck where the Longenecker clan took a break on a bench.   Caitlin tells us "All of us in the photo are all cousins.  This is our first trip to the Outer Banks, but it won't be our last!"  The waterfront shoppes are at the end of a huge project the town of Duck undertook a few years ago to link the heart of the village via a waterfront pier.  The pier stretches from the Waterfront Shoppes on the northern end of the town for approximately one mile to the southern end of the town.   It is a really nice experience to go and walk on the waterfront in Duck.

Thanks Caitlin for sharing your photo memories with us this Monday.  This also reminds us to tell everyone that we are always looking for photo memories of the Outer Banks to share with our readers each Monday.  "Memory Monday" is our weekly photo submission contest where we post a new picture here every Monday.  Each month we randomly pick one of the entries from that last month to win a $100 discount towards a next year's stay with Outer Banks Blue.

Until next time we are standing by at the beach looking for that early spring that was promised!

All the best from the beach.
