Memory Monday 12/17/12

You'd better be nice....you know whose coming soon...

This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to use from Jean Santos of Westerly, Rhode Island who stayed with Outer Banks Blue this past summer in the property "Peace Place" in Nags Head.

This picture of Jean's grandchildren is just precious and we appreciate her sharing it.

Love the T-Shirts!

Jean tells us "We took our children and our grandchildren to the OBX because we love it so much, and now so do they.  This is our favorite picture from the week.  We have 3 daughters, who all gave birth to daughters in 2008 just 2 months apart, those are the 3 older at 4 1/2, and the youngest grandaughter who is upset is 2 1/2.  Her name is Peyton Mary.  She was upset at her mother, because mom kept taking pictures of her and the others and she missed her turn with the purple golf ball (life should be so easy!!).  Her mom found those T-shirts at one of the beach stores and thought they were perfect...they played many a role during our stay.  It is not often that all the cousins are together.

Me and my husband have been coming to the OBX since 2004 and have been regular since.  We like to find different houses and 'Peace Place' has been our best house so far!  We like to fly kites, hang out on the beach, watch the awesome thunder/lightning storms over the ocean (we had many during our stay this year), eat seasoned shrimp, and this year we went on the Wild Mustang Tour in Corolla.  Something I have always wanted to do and didn't, so we did it and it was amazing.  To us it is the best relaxing vacation.

Last Christmas (2011) we thought we would take our family to OBX to show them what we like to do with a beach vacation.  They loved it and want to come back..."

Thanks Jean...we feel for Peyton May in this picture.  We wouldn't want to miss our turn with the purple golf ball either because Mom kept taking pictures!

All the best from the beach!
