Good morning. Usually you see in this space a weekly posting of a photo from a guest that provides great memories of their stay on the Outer Banks. We beg your forgiveness today if we do a little self promotion and pass along thanks as “Everything Outer Banks” was named to a prestigious list this past week. Feedspot named “Everything Outer Banks” as one of the top 20 Blogs in the Vacation Rental Management Industry among thousands that are currently active!
Feedspot is a browser based RSS feed reader company, oftens considers the blog reader that replaced Google when Google shut down their RSS reader a few years ago. They host and syndicate many blogs around the world and is one of the best places to go to search for blogs of interest.
It should be noted that Outer Banks Blue does not pay Feedspot to promote or host our site. This rating was completely a result of our own work.
With that said, Everything Outer Banks was named this past Thursday (October 26th, 2017) as the 19th most popular “Vacation Rental Blogs on the Planet.” Everything Outer Banks was ranked #2 among actual vacation rental companies which means all but one of the 18 blogs ranked ahead of us were either for larger publicly held companies, or were from companies that were not directly related to dealing with the guest interaction that is the vacation rental business (i.e. 3rd party distribution sites that have people dedicated to their blog presence.
The top 5 of “Top 75 Vacation Rental Blogs on the Planet” included:
#1 VRM Intel. A blog dedicated to the industry of vacation rentals and focused on providing content to Vacation Rental Managers.
#2 Cottage Blogger. A site for vacation rental managers and owners.
#3 Expert Air BnB Tips. Self explanatory
#4 Evolve Vacation Rentals. A site for owners and visitors in the Denver Area.
#5 Rented.com Helping owners find short term vacation rental managers.
Everything Outer Banks was recognized as one of the most consistent (at least one post per week) and well established (Started in 2008), but one of the things that makes us most proud is that our content was designated as relevant and desired among our subscribers. The top 75 vacation rental management blogs were mentioned in this release.
We thank you for your dedication to “Everything Outer Banks,” and we thank Blogspot for recognizing our hard work at getting us to this point.
All the best from the beach!
